Before the next season, a look at what the first two productions achieved: Bloom Ballet Gala (Adelaide Fringe 2025) and Beyond Ballet Gala (Adelaide Fringe 2026).
Bloom Ballet Gala
Our debut season at Goodwood Theatre and Studios, and every performance sold out. The programme ranged from Petipa’s Jewels Fairies Pas de Quatre to Michael Tong and Mimi Yoshii’s Walpurgis Night and Amy de Halyn’s Female Factory. Stage Whispers called it “an entertaining hour” that “showcases local and imported dancers doing what they do best”.
Bloom was created around local artists, collaboration and community support, and it marked the beginning of Ballet Rogue as a collective. The works, photographs and credits are on the Repertoire page.
Beyond Ballet Gala
A programme including Tara Edwards-Johnson’s Liée, Rebekah Rowland’s Arioso and Alex Selivanova’s character dance, performed at Adelaide Fringe 2026 and then taken on a regional tour to Gawler Civic Hall and Victor Harbor Town Hall. Stage Whispers described it as “an eclectic mix of modern and classical styles with something to please any dance lover”.
