Ballet Rogue’s fourth season is Cinderella, at Adelaide Fringe 2027.

It is our first continuous narrative ballet, made for children and families, and it is directed and choreographed by Mimi Yoshii.

The story

Cinderella learned to dance from her late mother. When a dance-loving Queen holds a birthday ball and competition, a Fairy and the Seasons help Cinderella attend, and her dancing wins her a future at court. Magic, transformation and midnight remain. It is Cinderella’s talent and ambition, rather than marriage, that shape what happens next.

The magic gets her to the ball. Her dancing determines what happens next.
